SOLO EXHIBITION——

“MIRAGESACPE”
“狂山浮景”


The exhibition was held at Fir Gallery, Beijing, curated by Chen Bofan. It marks ZELAM LIM’s third solo exhibition following Looking (2014) and Red Dream Illusion (2021), presenting his latest body of work. Continuing the thread of Eastern philosophical thought, the series responds to contemporary contexts through painting while exploring the ongoing evolution of the artist’s visual language.
Framed around the dual concepts of “Kuangshan” (Wild Mountain) and “Fujing” (Floating Scenery), the exhibition constructs a fluid tableau of Eastern imagery. “Kuangshan,” drawn from the Classic of Mountains and Seas · North Mountains, symbolizes the weight of time and the endurance of history. The viewer, as a traveler within the mountains, experiences transformation and introspection through this shifting terrain. Through painting, LIM guides the audience into a spiritual realm suspended between illusion and reality.


本次展览于北京小杉画廊举办，由策展人陈泊帆策划，是林子楠继《Looking》（2014）与《赤梦遂迷》（2021）后的第三次个展，呈现其最新创作系列。作品延续东方哲学的思考脉络，以绘画回应当下语境，并探索个人视觉语言的持续演化。
展览以“狂山”与“浮景”的二元概念为线索，构筑一幅流动的东方意象图景。“狂山”引自《山海经·北山经》，象征时代的厚重与历史的恒久；观者如山中行旅，于曲折之境中体悟变迁与自省。林子楠以绘画为径，引领观众步入介于幻象与现实之间的精神之境。
